Oh this post is belated for almost three days, to everyone who has visited my site and expecting a Selamat Hari Raya post, I'm sorry that you've been disappointed. Even so, I still would like to wish every muslim ( I REFRAIN from saying malay muslim already ) in Singapore and well the whole world as well Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Ok it means uhh, you know what selamat hari raya is, maaf zahir dan batin means to forgive anything that I've done be it externally or internally. Uhh, direct translation. You guys play around with it then.

Though its normal to take pictures on the morning of Raya, but it seems it has slipped my family and mine's mind to actually took one. So no pictures as of yet. Period.

Though certainly what is my feeling of the raya this year. It felt the same, as any other year. That just goes to show that I'm getting too old already to be expecting green packets anymore. There is this issue though that have been plaguing my inner conscience. This practice of kids, in mobs, yes in mobs, visiting homes of people that they know nuts about. Sure definitely in this festive season we're allowed to be fesitve-y and the likes of that, but it does need to be done with a certain principle.

Firstly, thou shalt not visit homes that you know not off, in the thought of getting green packet. Its a disgrace and embarassment.

Secondly, thou shalt not kick other people's plant vases which are placed oh so nicely outside the house just because the host doesn't want to let you it.

Last but not least, thou shalt not EVEN think of coming in mobs, cause the bigger the mobs, the most likely the host wouldn't even dare open the front door.

So kids out there, yes we're living in the 21st century, but it doesn't mean that our pride and courtesy shall fade with the changing times. Please visit the people that you wish to ask for forgiveness, not to expect the green packets which you will intend save up and buy things that you will regret after that anyway.
